Levocetirizine 5 mg + Montelukast 10 mg TABS
 
 
Levocetirizine is a third-generation non-sedative antihistamine, developed from the second-generation antihistamine cetirizine.
Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergies.
Indications
Chronic Allergic conditions like
  • seasonal allergic rhinitis
  • perennial allergic rhinitis
  • Rhinitis associated with Asthma
Montelukast / Levocetirizine gives additional benefits in comparison to either agent alone and could be considered for patients whose quality of life is impaired by persistent allergic rhinitis.
In asthmatics, it has been found that the combination of antihistamines (Levocetirizine) with antileukotrienes (Montelukast) will result in a profound inhibition of both the early and the late phase of allergen-induced airway obstruction.
 
Citicoline 500 mg TABS
 
 
Citicoline is a psychostimulant/nootropic.
It increases blood flow and O2 consumption in the brain.

Acebrophylline 100 mg Capsules

 
 
Acebrophylline is an airway mucoregulator and anti-inflammatory agent.
Indications
  • acute or chronic bronchitis
  • chronic obstructive or asthma-like bronchitis
  • recurrence of chronic bronchitis
 

Acebrophylline reduces the frequency of episodes of bronchial obstruction, reduces the need for beta2-agonists and improves indexes of ventilatory function.

Acebrophylline possesses both muco-regulating and bronchodilator effects thereby showing earlier improvement in signs & symptoms in comparison with Theophylline which has only bronchodilator effects.
 

Deflazacort – 6 mg / 30 mg Tabs
 
 

Deflazacort is a glucocorticoid used as an anti-inflammatory & immunosuppressant.

Indications
  • Severe asthma
  • Allergic conditions
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • multiple sclerosis in exacerbation
  • collagen disease
  • other inflammatory conditions.
  • Deflazacort may be used in the therapy for epileptic encephalopathies for a long period, with a less worrying adverse-effect profile.
  • Deflazacort could be reserved for emergency use in patients with adverse reactions to other corticosteroids.
  • Deflazacort modulates the fibrinolytic pattern and reduces uPA-dependent chemioinvasion and proliferation in rheumatoid arthritis synoviocytes.
  • Follow-up liver biopsy after 19 months of Deflazacort and ursodeoxycholic acid treatment showed histologic remission in type-1 autoimmune hepatitis.
